What a wonderful project & so fitting at our house on so many levels… My little girl is allergic to milk so we celebrate with other treats, and we also had our pet chicken go broody & purchased some fertilized eggs to put under her, on new years eve she hatched two beautiful little chicks, my twin girls loved seeing two chirpy little heads pop out from under their mum & after naming them they exclaimed they are twins too mummy! Happy Easter!

Yesterday I found out our place is 350 square metres too small to legally have chickens or ducks. I was so sad about it. Maybe these chickens will come to roost at our place. As usual Indigo Inspiration, beautiful. Joyous Easter.

My children love chickens! They feed them a cooked breakfast in the morning & sing them a lullaby at night. Almost as cute as these little felt ones!

this is just lovely, oh easter is going to be so much fun this year! we are going to get very crafty!
my 3yo j-girl really thought about the welfare of chickens recently…
j-girl asked “what do chickens say daddy?”
    daddy replied “bok bok bok?”
j-girl asks “no, what do think they are really saying?”
daddy…”I don’t know what do you think they are saying?”
    j-girl says “Don’t eat me!”
as you might imagine, she doesn’t eat meat and daddy does…chicken just doesn’t quite taste the same anymore!

Hi Amber! I would love to be in the running for the Easter giveaway. Jo’s products are so adorable and my 14 month old would love to wake to those chickens on Easter morning! Thanks for all the inspirations you have given us through your blog!

Just gorgeous, I am probably not quite talented enough to make these from scratch, so a kit would be perfect! My daughter would adore these and my little son is allergic to chocolate, so this would be an excellent alternative. Such a great idea.
