I just found this in an old notebook of mine. I also found this list I did write.
I am a chronic list maker. You should have seen the lists I found today! Do you do this too?

Make Play a Part of your Everyday.

  • Build a stack of dominoes, then push it over and laugh.
  • Build an indoor fort and watch movies inside it
  • Dress up.  Who do you want to be?  A superhero, a magic fairy?  (Why let the kids have all the fun?)
  • Make goop.  Have a goop bath.
  • Set up your electric frypan on a clean sheet on the floor and pop popcorn.  Try to catch the popcorn firecrackers with your mouth.
  • Add a dash of glitter into every envelope when you send a letter.  Especially when paying bills.
  • Make a picture board of wishes
  • Write magic notes.  Use a plain wax candle to write secret messages on white paper.  Invite your friends to paint over them with watercolour to reveal what is beneath.

Playful activities free our souls, don’t they?

I’m off to write some magic notes. What playful thing will you today?
