How to make a Pumpkin Peek-a-boo card using cardboard!

Posted under Autumn

Here is what you’ll need to begin.
The pumpkin template is 14cm wide, and 10 cm high.
The height of the pumpkin pixie’s body is 10cm.
Trace a pumpkin shape onto card and cut it out.  Use a stanley knife to cut a line through the card, somewhere close to the top of the pumpkin.
(I have shown it here with the paddlepop stick poking through!)
Cut a line of ‘grass’ from the green strip and use snail tape to stick it to the bottom edge of the pumpkin.
Complete decorating your pumpkin.
Here is the pumpkin pixie!
Run a strip of snail tape on the ‘neck’ of the body. Attach the ‘head’ piece.
Run snail tape onto the crown of the ‘head’ and attach the green hat.
Run snail tape along the paddlepop stick and firmly attach the pixie to it.
Embellish as you like!
This is what the pumpkin looks like… before….
and… after!
Cute, hey!
A surprise invitation or birthday card for a beloved friend.
Just perfect for autumn, or later in the year for Halloween.
