Morning Star Crafts was one of the featured stalls at the conference.
Elizabeth stocks a wide variety of natural and organic products, including items from the Weleda range, organic cotton facecloths (divine!), beeswax candles and books.
But the most beautiful things on her display and in her shop have to be the lovely PLANT dyed items.
My gosh, they look so good, I just want to eat them!
Elizabeth hand dyes all the silks (use these on your display tables, for birthday celebrations, or as children’s play cloths on a special day), the knitting wool and the ready made felt squares.
The subdued colours of the plant dyes are full of light!
They make you want to breathe them in.
The older I become, the more and more I am drawn to plant dyed things, and I have a desire to learn more about dyeing with this abundance of nature. Of course, we can experiment with my own plants and foliage but now Elizabeth also stocks both powder and liquid plant dyes too if anyone is so inclined.
Another wonderful resource for crafty mama’s.
